SRI LANKA

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL:

WET SEASON – DECEMBER THROUGH TO MARCH

SRI LANKA CAN BE A PERFECT BARREL IF THE CONDITIONS LINE UP . . .
When near by Nusa Dua is maxed out. Sri Lanka starts to turn on, the wave wraps around a submerged coral reef facing the northwest.
The Break is situated directly in front of the resort Club-Med, not far from Nusa Dua
Not usually a wave for beginners . . . a thick round barrel from the take off to where it ends in a deep channel.
The paddle out is relatively easy through the same channel.
If its your first time surfing here , take the time to watch the wave, know your limits.
Maybe sit in the channel and watch for a while until you get the feel of the break
The break is located directly in front of the resort Club Med.
You can find access to the beach from a gang just to the north of the resort and then walk along the path around the front.
Breaks best on higher tides. Like most East coast waves its offshore in South West to North west winds but you may be able to get an early session in during the dry season in early morning glass offs before trade winds come up
When its good can be crowded
