Peter Neely the founder of Indo Surf & Lingo had a love affair with Bali, that was pretty much unrivaled.
He had a deep understanding of why Bali is called “The island of the Gods”
The theme that is constant in all his writing throughout his Indo guide book is all about forging friendships and interacting with the Indonesian people.

Peter worked in advertising in his younger days, so after the many years he spent in Bali, it was natural progression that with his love of Indonesia and vast knowledge of Bali, that he would always do his best to market “The Island of the Gods”
And so around 2005 “Bali Magic” the TV show was born . . .

One of his good friends, Made Tiwi Cox a beautiful young Balinese lady was brought in to co-commentate with Peter and together throughout the documentary they explore beautiful landscapes, ceremonies and tourist accommodation and attractions all over Bali.
Tiwi explores Salons and relaxing Day Spas, while Peter ventures out to one of his favourite surf spots, Kuta Reef and interviews Uluwatu legend made Lana.
I’m unsure why but unfortunately the TV show was never picked up by any network.
As you’ve probably read elsewhere on this site
Peter passed away in 2020 .
And tragically, in 2006 the beautiful Tiwi was tragically killed in a motorbike accident at only 24 years of age.
After speaking to Peter and Tiwis family, they agreed to let me upload the documentary to YouTube as a tribute and memorial, so people could watch and see the deep love they had for Bali
